2024 - 2025 Programs
 Tuesday, Jan 7, 2025 - 11:30am - 3:30pm
This is an inspirational film about a visionary trio that crossed all gender and racial lines. It's the incredible story of Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, and Mary Jackson, three brilliant African American women working at NASA who were responsible for the successful launch into orbit of astronaut, John Glenn. We are happy that their great contribution has been finally acknowledged this year even though posthumously. These women did not complain about the problems and circumstances they suffered at their workplace, nor the issues and discrimination that they faced. They focused on solutions! These brave, intelligent women were able to put man into space! This story is about what happens when we put our differences aside and come together as a human family - we win, and love and unity win every time! Let us be inspired to join together and continue the work of eradicating racism, discrimination and inequality of all kinds in our world today!
